I got a ticket to the big show!

I got a phone call from the big boss man in Atlanta, and my company wants to move me up to Atlanta and promote me to a training manager for the company I work for. Big cash bonus and big raise, not to mention I'll be in the biggest, bestest, awesomest store our entire company has (6000 locations!)... conference rooms, training rooms, big huge boss desk, my boss has an office there, and I'll have an assistant... all on the strip in Buckhead (which if you don't know is the freakin nicest part of the nicest part of Atlanta)...

If I take it I have to pack up my things and move there first thing in January!

Any advice for a youngster like me from the older, experienced businessmen?

Is there anything that would hold you back?

 

well the only thing is my girlfriend lives down here and she has one semester left in law school so she's gotta stay until May and I have to pay for this place too... and she has absolutely 0 income right now so I'm paying 100% of all the bills and rent and if I get a place up there it's gonna be another 1100 or so a month I'll be spending on an apartment and utilities up there

but let me add the bonus is more than enough to cover the expenses until she moves down here

 

No business advice from me... I'm just a grease monkey, and don't know jack about business stuff[&:] LOL I can fix your diesel though, if you had one


CONGRATS on the promotion!!! Sounds like one hell of a deal for sure! That'll kick *** though if you move up this way.... are you ready for lots of play time up in the mountains??

lol thanks jared ... since this is a training job there will be lots more 9-5 M-F work weeks so I'll probably have more time to ride on the weekends

 

A buddy of mine in Kennesaw is in desperate need of roomates by the 1st of the year, if you'd be interested. It'd be a lil cheaper for a few months until your GF could get moved up here

SHEESH I just got done looking at apartments for the last 30 minutes and there's not a place within 20 miles of the store less than 850 a month...20 miles makes for about an hour and 30 minute comute at the wrong time of day
