They aren't made to ride in a normal way at all any more ... sure they look like they are doing 200mph standing still and that's ok ..but really ... how far can a normal person ride these new gen bikes without suffering a full bent outta shape bodily shut down ?
I cannot imagine 300+ miles on those seats, in that position ?
Its your age classic.......
Yer , I know that age does not help
thanks for the quick reminder ... the alsymers is kickin in too on occasion.

, but gee mate ... dunno if it the only problem ?
haha seriously, me being at a very young and tender of 34 doesn't help much either. I'll be cooked if you are talking 300 miles non stop.

Wow is that really the new R1? I saw a different pic. and the ninja.... is just getting worse and worse. It went down hill after the 636 and that was still a compromise!

Agreed, all the 08/09's look like ALIENS! I'd say the best looking 06 is the yamaha, then honda.... I'd still purchase the honda first! Those other two 06's are meh.

I feel that the direction honda is going with their bikes is the same directions they are going with their cars, all concepty and futuristic crap... fire that designer pronto

Xura that really is the new R1 in all its bug eyed glory. Dont even think about covering them up either, the air ducts are right next to them. Although after some reading, im a bit curious about their new "big bang" powerplant, it sounds really good. They may surpass the others now in power and low end torque.

New R1 is way better than all of them. Which sucks to say, because I'm naturally a Honda fan. But at least the R1 has the motor tech to back it up.

I like the new honda's and I like em a lil more the more I see them. I have to say I still like the 06, 07's better, heck thats why I bought mine..... I just love it !!!!
I never really considered all the attention a bike like that gets on the street though.... I'm 43 years old now and I sure get a kick out of it when I round a turn at a stop light and some 18 year old in a car stares with his mouth open all the way round the turn or like the other day, I went past a bunch of girls at some kinda family get together....I was in full gear..... they started waving and yelling at me.....they had no idea an old guy was on this hot looking bike...LOL I think I was almost ready to grow up.....but then I bought this thing!!! Gotta just love life

I imagine I'll have one of those 09's in about 2010..... cant part with my baby for a while!
