Certainly I would imagine to at least 130-140 but even still, what does a current 1KRR top out at... 175-185?

You think a "fast" car tops out at 180?

Just for clarification, I'm not taling about a Mustang with bolt-ons being a fast car... and let me clarify even more, I'm a fan of the 302 H.O. and even the 4.6), anyway, I'm talking the higher-end cars and maybe those ol' muscle cars with something serious under the hood. Not talking stock engines with a turbo and pulley kit.

LMAO @ short bus- pretty damn funny man, Well the car looked relatively new, dont know exactly what year though. At any rate it was a good experience and ive learned to keep my trap shut when i get beat. "Sorry to break it to you guys, we don't have the fastest things on the streets, just the funnest." Truer words have never been spoken. Did I get beat by some ***** in a car his parents probably bought?-Yes, Do I still love my bike as much as before - Hell yes, I'll just write this one off...

You wouldn't have caught up.

The 600RR isn't a top-speed bike but it's get to it's top-speed quickly.

I would have smoked you in my VW though. Bone stock 'cept for teh K&N cold-air intake... puttin' about 385hp's on the ground... no big deal.

LMAO @ the M5 forum-making-fun-thingy...
What VW do you have?

My brother did this a few times, liked to race the top-of-the-line Mercedes and 6.6 big block TransAm's. He'd pretty much keep up with them too, until they ran out of road. Only problem is, if something goes wrong, who do you think is going to live, who do you think is going to die pretty quick?

It's not something you should be doing. Leave it to the M5 *****-boy to sphincter himself. You have too many years of enjoyable life ahead to risk it like that. There's no reward, and consider this, how much "*****" does it take to do 130 on a motorcycle vs. doing the same in a car? You win the "*****" contest every time. So do a "Quagmire" and "drag your sack across" the face of a good-looking chic.

To be honest, threads like these gimmie the hee-bee-jee-bees. Every time I see something like this I think about the kid in the 954 forum last year...

RIP.

Be carefull out there, folks!
Sorry to thread jack, but what happened to the "kid"? I'm guessing not good.

Just ride safe. No point in racing cars against bikes on the street...too many things to go wrong in general andnow you've got a testosterone pumped driver in a cage going about or at leastdouble the speed limit on any given road in America right next to you trying to see if he can "beat a bike."

He started the thread about pinning his 954 and what was it... like 2 hours later?

Crazy. If you find the thread link, I still get kind of spooked out in there...
