I'm not very far at all in the main story. Still yet to visit the greybeards on this play through. Haven't done any imperial / storm cloak stuff either. Killed about 6 dragons, 3 different varieties. Going to make a set of light dragon armor to use to level up light armor somewhat for leveling purposes.

I'm level 37. Full daedric armor / sword. Upgraded with +67% Enhacement from items and blacksmith potions at 100 smithing.

Just waiting to get my enchantment to 100 to put some goodies on the items. Enchanting skill is Level 71 currently.

Silly to me that daedric stuff is better than dragon, and that dragon has no weapons either.

Best game I've played since dragon age origins. I'm hooked.

That's the quest. During the quest you'll have a choice that'll affect the start. It stays a reusable soul gem but you can turn it black, making it hold only npc souls. Haven't found a way to create black soul gems like in Oblivion so you might consider this.

Filled black soul gem = filled grand soul gem regardless of the npc level.

Picking Skyrim up VERY soon, Was going to go Wood Elf for the bow awesomeness. But if there is more hand-to-hand combat I was thinking of maybe going Orc? Not super interested in the Magic aspect, but to my understandings all races can be equal, just have starting benefits?
Does anyone have any suggestions on races?

Nord

Combat skills start out higher, frost resistance, race power is mass fear and you don't look like a mutant

Skill level isn't as important as the perks in the skills I think. 2 perks in archery will give you a 40% bonus on bow damage with a 40 skill, for example.

Was thinking maybe orc w/ 2Her because orc racial seems pretty beast. And I figured they might not be terrible with bows? I havent looked at actual bonuses between the two though. Going to now :P

edit: Yea probably will go Nord.. Feels so generic though!!

Now to attempt to wait until after finals to buy it, so I dont bomb them all haha
