Default shipping a bike

I am in the process of buying an out of state bike and was wondering what methods some of you have used in the past.

The bike I am purchasing is in Indiana, and I am in SC. My car cannot tow, but I do have access to a suv I can borrow and have no problems going to get it. What do you think would be the best way to get it?

if you have access to a way to transport, then you can never go wrong with a road trip. Get a friend and go for the ride....just my .02
Good luck, post some pics when you pick it up and from along the way...

That's what I am working on now. Trying out to figure out if it would be cheaper to rent a trailer or get it shipped or something.

I have lots of pics, but don't know how yet.

I bought a 96 F3
