Serious Problem, No Jokes Please
Would like to apologize for being so long to get back to everyone myself. I have been hammered on more than one front. I am going to spare you most of the great boring details. Just going to let you know I'm going to have surgery in January, and I will of course let everyone know before leaving to have it done. I am being allowed to remain on active duty until January. I am cycling out though. At that point, this is a strategic move on my part will exit with an RE 1 reenlistment code and hopefully be able at the last part of next year to reenlist. This is a complicated red tape problem. I have had some excellent guidance on the issue though. And this is the best avenue to pursue. I will also not be putting myself in jeopardy; waiting till January for the surgery I will say this though. It has been a very sickening adjustment, to the medication and a painful process working my way through the bureaucratic side of the Marine Corps. But the $64,000 question is, what does a Parachute, Scuba Dive, Martial Arts Instructor, CQC Reconnaissance Marine do for a living in the civilian world, If I decide not to reenlist or unable to. I began thinking about this early last week.I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for your PM's e-mails and postings. It really means a lot to me to know that you all took a moment to think about my family and me. Thank you once again for Your Support and Prayers
