Oh wow man. I'm sorry.
I'll be praying for you, and have confidence that evrything will work itself out.
Faith, and a possitive attitude have an immense impact on your body's ability to regenerate from illness/ injury.

You know, maybe the accident was a blessing in disguise if it was the cause of finding this aneurysm before it was too late. (Although I wouldn't wish an accident on anybody.)

The fact that it was detected before it started giving you serious problems betters your chances of it being fixable, and one it is fixed, it shouldn't afect your ability to stay in the service. It will just take you a little bit longer than you thought to get back to the sandbox.

But for now; your mission is to get healthy again.

**** a brick mate, just read your post, 1st thing, did the doctor undertake any other stuff during your examination? Like blood pressure & blood sample.
I say this because the symptoms you describe can also be related to hypertension (severe). Ok not a good thing in itself, but treatable with medication (mild) & diet change.
2nd thing, (and I think you know where I'm coming from) Life's a mind set, it takes a life changing experience to make people realise, that the things we take take for granted, are all just smoke & mirrors. I think that your a strong person, but this has put you in a position where you no longer have total control of the situation, which must totally **** you off. If you can, just step back a little, get some serious medical advice (as in 2nd, 3rd opinions). I'll be keeping my finger crossed for you, best wishes mate.

+1 to everything everyone else said. Listen to your doctors, but keep yourself on a positive note as much as possible. Good luck. I'm sure they will be able to take care of it.
