I feel bad if I miss a wave, but sometimes I'm focused on the traffic on my side. It's a courtesy that you give those who face the same risks you do in riding and are still out there doing it. Harley, sportbike, BMW, squid... I wave to everybody. Even off the bike, especially if I'm in gear, I'm waving.

I wave at everyone..No loss if they dont wave back..Its been a thing for years..For those that dont,no sweat lost..

I even wave at the bike cops and they always wave back ..[:-]..
About the only time i miss a wave is in im in heavy traffic(my safety is more important than a wave lol).

Normally I'll be riding fast in the highway that I will miss to wave...

I will wave to the approching cars when they give me a high beam indicating there is a cop waiting with a speed camera.... lol
