Riding with a passenger?

Haha, I kid!
I have more than enough girls ready to "go for a ride" with me on my bike. Once a lot of my female friends learned that I was to be riding this sexy red Honda machine, I had a lineup of girls asking me to promise them that they'd get a ride. Frankly it got kind of annoying, since prior to them learning that I wasn't all that popular, and I'm willing to bet 90% of them don't have a hot clue how to be a good passenger. That, plus me bring green to passengers in general, made me tell em all to go fly a kite!
Now that I've spent a bunch of time on this thing I'm ready to finally start learning the passenger part of it, but this time it's by invite only!!

I know
You're 100% correct about the girls lining up, fortunately my GF pointed out that I'm "taken", so I don't have to give anyone else rides lol
I would really recommend you find someone that's ridden passenger before, and find a parking lot. The hardest part IMO are the slow (sharp) turns, one's that you'd actually encounter on a regular basis. Practicing that helped me a ton, having an experienced passenger made it so much easier too.
Lots of great info in this thread!

Two most important rules for passengers (IMHO)
1. Keep your hands at waist level. I almost got yanked off the back by a passenger who wasn't ready, and grabbed my shoulders when I took off. Both hands came off the bars.
Also prevents them from trying to steer you.
2. Do not get on or off until you are told. I've had passengers jump on when I wasn't ready, almost knocked us both over.
