Default riding with a passenger

I find that when I am giving a girl a ride on the back she tends to slide forward on the seat so keeps having to readjust.
The stock seat is fairly smooth..

Do you guys notice this? Or maybe she just wants a peice of me

Sounds like she just dosent know how to ride.

Have them put their hands on the tank. When you are stopping, she pushes on the tank. When you accelerate she should hold onto your hips.

If her arms don't reach the tank...she's too young, throw her back QUICK!!

Remember a stupid passenger can put you in the ditch.

Luckily I am married so there is only one passenger I have to deal with. She knows how to ride with me so it's all good.

In addition to what I mentioned above, tell them to look over your inside shoulder when you lean, and to keep her *** still when you are turning. Tell them to only mount/dismount when you OK it. My wife knows all the rules so other than being more gentle on control inputs I don't have to change much when I ride with her.

Man I am glad I am old and uncool. I forgot how much trouble young girls can get you into.

Stupid biatches still try to get rides with me, but I am a meanie. I usually pull my passenger pegs off and run a Targa Cowl. "so sorry, no seat for you!"

my girl started leaning the wrong direction in corners outa nowhere. i danm near stopped the bike and slapped her!
she said she was scared, i told her that her reactions were NOT HELPING and doing that is what she should be really scared over.
make her use the tank, but that only helps till there arms get tired then your riding with a monkey on the back.
"no seet fo yoo!!"

The girl I had on had ridden before and was actually pretty good as far as cornering and sitting still (for the most part)

I had no problems at all riding the bike it was just that her butt slid forward on the seat when I slowed down. Didn't slow down very fast except for a couple of down shifts but i'm thinking there just isn't much friction holding her in place.

She put one hand on my back but next time i'll see if she can put a hand on the tank

Tell her to grip your hips with her knees. (the same way you should be gripping the tank with yours).

If she feels she has to push on you, make sure she pushes on your lower back.

If she pushes on your upper back/shoulders, she will wear you out quick. Don't armorall your seat. That makes it REAL slick.

If you have a significant other that rides with you a lot, get a Corbin rear seat.

Damn......sometimes I feel like a walking talking Corbin advertisement. They are good seats though.
