really dumb question

RE: really dumb question
I have all kinds of gear. Unvented leathers, vented leathers, textile coats and pants, and under armour, kevlar gloves, mx gloves, full gauntlet gloves, etc... you get the idea.
I dress for the occasion. I'm not a gear ****, but I've been down back about 15 years ago, and vowed to be safe. It is your choice, but be prepared to face the outcome of a situation and for those affected by it. That's all. Otherwise just enjoy the privilege to ride.

RE: really dumb question
I know it gets hot and all, but if I had to chose between not riding and wearing shorts and a T...I would more than likely stay home. I can't saywith 100% certainty, but I am really certain that I wouldn't risk it at all. It is that 2 mile jaunt down the road that can really get you. It is when we become complacent that we run the highest risk of getting hurt. That applies to almost everything, actually...

RE: really dumb question
I have been a squid before and done the whole shorts thing... we all have I dont care who we are. Is it right to wear shorts? No. Lets face it the majority of accidents happen within 10 miles of home so we are all probably in for it at some point in time leaving the jacket off. I will end up buying matching textile pants. I had thought to the kevlar jeans, but its like buying two pairs of those jeans for one pair of the pants. Might as well match with everything.
