Default Radiator fan not working!!!

Thinking back I don't think I've heard the fan kick on at all this year. It hasn't been very warm until now so I definitely notice the temp gauge moving closer to "H". The other day after being stuck in traffic for awhile I parked the bike and a couple minutes came back out to find a nice puddle of coolant on the ground. I assume that's what happens when the bike overheats? Any ideas on how to figure out what's wrong with my fan. The fuses are fine and the connector looks fine. Thanks for any help!

Ok, cool thanks. Well let me do a little troubleshooting this weekend and try to determine if it's the fan itself first. I'll be in touch.

Make sure you spin it by hand (With the bike off!!!!) A friend had a fan that didn't work and after trying to spin it by hand he found that it was jammed with a small piece of gravel.

Ha that would be funny. I'll make sure to check that for sure. Wouldn't that blow the fuse or burn out the motor though?
