i throw 2 fingas in the air like a playa, but if they see me and dont acknowledge me i retract 1 finger.

Right there with ya. A wave becomes a bird if you see me and ignore me!!!!

Slightly off topic but is there a special meaning for flipping up a persons gas tank lid while they arent around. When I go to the mall sometimes I come out to find my "key hole cover" has been lifted up. Any idea?

probebly someone wanted to let you know they "touched" your bike, or maybe theres a real reason behind it ive never had it done to me;RE: the wave, I wave at all bikes regradless of creed and color, and yes the "Harley bikes" do feel they are "something speciel" I have a buddie at work thats an ex biker he says its a brotherhood thing the "Harley club " you know members only type of mentality, healso says sport bike riders are buncha ****, but thats ok I just tell hime that Bikers are just a buncha "Dirt bags" riden bikes that literally fall apart riding down the road in fact most of the accidents that accure here are Harly bikes riding the mtn. maybe they dont wave is because they are too busy trying to control 800 lbs of rolling crap!!! by the way I give the 2 fingers down wave

Ever notice when you see a group of Harley's riding there is always a pick-up following them? That is to pick up all the pieces that fall off as they are going and tow the one's that break down! LOL

As for the gas lid being up I've seen multiple reasons for this. But most comon is riders I have riden with that saw my bike wanting to say hello. [8D]

In Spain it is the "V" or "peace" which ever you prefer to call it, either up or down or to the side. We all get along over here, cruisers and sport guys all wave.

We do two taps on the lid for cops also, around here it's a wave, two fingers, head nod what ever you feel like. But it's the same thing here when it comes to the rockets and cruisers. Some will wave to each other and others will just keep riding, but I will wave only if it looks like the are going to wave back.
