I hate Sony products and their business method of wanting to monopolize everything, (Blue-Ray...Beta vs. VHS etc.)

But I gotta admit that while the first 2 consoles sucked in my view, the PS3 has some awesome looking games, graphics...

Yet it is being outsold by both X360 and Wii...which have Nintendo retreads and X has just empty crap for games period.

Go figure.

Anyway Besides the fact that I really like PS3, if you like racing games I suggest buying PS3 because Gran Turismo 5 comes out in December. The greatest racing game ever!!!

P.S. If you get PS3 make sure you get the 80g one because the 40g can't play PS2 games...(so wierd)
thanks for the tip about the memory, didn't know that. I don't like MS products anyway, so 360 is out, I kinda fell out with Nintendo when they came out with gamecube, so that leaves sony. The only reason I got PS2 was to play GT3, then GT4 came out. I can't wait for GTHD and it would be the only reason I would get PS3, but I'm guessing same thing that happened with GT4 is going on and would venture at mid-Q2 '08 release. GT4 was originally slated for Dec. '03 release and didn't come out until spring '05.

That delayed release was quite possibly the most annoying thing ever!

I agree with this 100%, but if you have a hi-def TV, you'd better at least try out a high def system on it before you decide because it is just crazy awesome. I have a DLP Toshiba and it is flipping sweet.

Kinda OT, but does XB360 have a HDMI cable available? I know PS3 does.

Yeah, the 360 has HDMI out.

As for the topic, get a Wii if you want to have a console and have fun. If you want graphics, go buy a computer, theres no way the 360 or the ps3 could ever match a high end compubox.

I'll keep playing PS2 until the PS3 comes down to a more manageable price range, and has a decent library of good games.

I'm also still hearing rumors of a Gran Turismo for the PSP, so who knows...

...anibody knows if Tourist Trophy will have any sort of a sequel?

Isnt it just certain models have it?
