Proactive
Corresponds with rule two of my rulesfor life that I wrote for myself KB
Life is a journey to enlightenment, one that will never end, there are just new beginnings on different plains and death Only comes to those who fail to find enlightenment. They suffer an eternity of frustration and torment for their failed past. Remember these things in life, and you shall succeed above others.
RULE 1 Allow no one to place your personal security in jeopardy (emotionally or physically ) except for yourself for your own convictions and beliefs.
RULE 2 Be willing to be enlightened keep an open mind. When being approached with something unfamiliar or new use your life experiences and skills to judge the issue at hand base your decision on what you know, for the most part. Only allow what you feel to play a small part in your decision. Good intuition is a great thing to have. If you possess it. but always err on the side of caution stick to the facts (Knowledge is strength. Strength is knowledge)
Rule 3 To Thy Own Self Be True (on a day-to-day basis must all individuals wear different masks at different times but at the end of the day when confronting yourself in the mirror you must remember who you are on the inside and take stock of that and becareful. Because in the end what you pretend to be is what we become. Do not allow a reflection of one's self to become the shadow of something unworthy
Rule 4 Remember that how we completed a task and whether it has been completed reflects upon us directly the old saying. It's more important how you play the gamenot whether you win or lose, that should be kept in the conscious mind . My interpretation of this is you must be in harmony with your mind and your body to complete any task to master, martial arts to be a accomplished dancer an accomplished musician your mind and body have to function as one in harmony and I believe this is one of the fundamental tasks that must be mastered to escape eternal damnation if you're a peace with yourself over how you have accomplished something then you are in harmony, whether others perceive it as a Failure OR a Win
RULE 5 Be fully aware of your surroundings and pay close attention to detail. Never become to relax in any surroundings (paranoia is a higher sense of awareness)
Rule 6 Be respectful of all others. Allow a small amount of leeway for those who are ignorant of the Creed, but never allow them to violate or override rules one through five. For those who live by the Creed. You will always be your brother's keeper. Keep them on the path of righteousness, for those who disavow the Creed show no mercy
Rule number 7 Commitment. Once committed to action do not deviate from it. There are certain exceptions to this rule, but basicly. Once you have committed yourself to an action carry through hesitation or apprehension can and will get you killed or give the appearance of weakness or indecision. Not the way to instill confidence in others

Is your brother currently still deployed CF and with the utmost respect Jules . I have a hard time taking any praise at all, it is my choice and my choice alone to do what I do. I honestly had a run in with some guy at the airport if you can imagine that a little guy. It had been 16 hours since I had slept a 14 hour flight included in that and he was just going on about the company I work for I had on some gear with the company logo on it and was just yelling how we were nothing but death dealers and mercenaries. I remained calm and kept in mind, I represented more than myself with my actions and replied with. Your misinformed ,I don't see it that way. There are certain parts of my job I truly don't like. But here's how I do see it were out there helping protect those who can't protect themselves for various reasons, and Doing our best to help provide blanket security for everyone and assist those who are serving their country's who are trying to stay within the ever-changing rules governing all operations and that is truly all I have to say about it
Exactly, come home, relax and enjoy a slow paced life. Take the bike out for a nice spin.
My brother is not deployed currently, he arrived back stateside in March of this year, but is possibly going to Afghanistan next year

It doesn't matter whether you can take praise or not, people will always give it where its due..but thats not the issue here ..its about you coming back down when home ... I think the thing is to allow yourself time and know you are not just going to fall effortlessly back into a routine of some kind ..people who care about you will accept and know this too .. you really can be gentle on yourself and not beat yourself up over this stuff ... but I can never truly know what you are going though only offer words of support ..I truly hope you find peace in yourself :-)

Im with Jules and everyone else on this one HC. There is no amount of gratitude or respect i could give you for what you do that could even measure up to what you are doing for us all. I guess just try your best to seperate yourself from it when you get home, this may sound horribly wrong (its the best way i can think to phrase it) but it is just a job. If i recall part of the reason you took it was to help lookout for your family and future, just try to keep them in mind when you need to seperate yourself.
