does anyone know how to get a print screen for a laptop, CompaqPresario V6000 to be exact?

I can not get ti to work, I press print screen, go to paint and I can't paste, so I press shift print screen becasue there are two buttons in one, go to paint nothing.

You most likely have to press and hold the function button then press the print screen button... The function button is typically between the crtl and alt keys...

And in my experience printscreen has been fn + F11(should say printscreen under it in blue)
