I don't like a lot of garbage drawing people to my screen. People at my work are like fish. They're drawn to pretty colors and shiny stuff. When fresh off of a vacation, I might put a pic up for a few days, but it's quickly back to this. If I don't use it at least twice a month, it has no business on my desktop IMO, so I only keep two desktop shortcuts up (well, three if you count the recycle bin).
