Hiyu K_carroll03
93,000klms - I am only responsible for the last 30,000 though :-)
My last bike was a v41000 and it was stolen :-(
I love this one the most and yes , like my ladies , I like them fairly std ( I change the seat to black though) and in good condition ...
I like to ride fairly quick and am a tad aggressive, so she is kept in good shape :-)

Thanks man ...
Yer I am a tad **** where it comes to keeping her in new condition ..
I have great respect for my bikes ... if they let you down , quite often you hit the ground :-)
When I ride in the rain (quite often here in Melbourne) I will spend hours in the garage scraping off the grim ..
My misses says near every week says something along these lines to me .. ...
"You would leave me, before you ever got rid of that bike "
and I think shes wright :-)
thanks again mate ..

I know not much about you , so I will ask , have you raced before ?
cbrclassic, i havent gotten to do a track day. i had a accident in July dragging knee, highsided into a wooden guardrail. i then decided i was done doing that on the street. so im hoping to get the F4i to a track day but i dont think it'll be until next summer.

The full on "road race" days are over for me ..
I had the unfortunate experience of throwing my near new Kawa 900Z1B off a windy road in 1976 while racing a few mates in the hills near my home..
My best mate was pillion with me (his 900 was in for service) , only 18years old he got killed after hitting a tree and I got clear by flying over a barbed wire fence into a paddock , missing everything..
I thought that that was it for me on the road , but it was not, because 200,000+ klms later , I am still keen, ride quite quick , but definately take care when moving along at any decent rate of knotts on windy roads..
I tried racing for a few mths , found the club days fun, but it seems I was not cut out for it back then..
I could never handle coming second :-) so I had this habit of trying a touch too hard against faster bikes usually and paying the price ...
I did ok, as far as finishing in the top 4 alot of the time, but the rest of the time I finished on my head :-)
It is amazing how you do get used to slidding down the track on yu **** , head , back then back to your **** :-) but I never got used to looking at my wrecked bike that I had to fix every time afterwards :-(
good luck with your racing next summer mate ..
