I am so glad. Go Colts!!

 

Sorry, I don't mean to be knocking your team if you are a Patriots fan... just there are some teams that you hate and the Pats are that team for me.

They win and win, so my hats off to them. I am just glad they won't be in this years SuperBowl.

 

Have to say though that was one of the better games I have seen in a long time. I wish in many ways that the Super Bowl would be that good.

I do owe a certain individual some kudos as his bears did manage to dominate today.

Anyone have any thoughts on a final score for the big game?

 

The Colts knocked out my KC Chiefs in the playoffs..............actually, they always knock my KC Chiefs out of the playoffs..........so I have a long history of hating the Colts. But New England is another team I can't stand either, so it's picking the lesser of the two evils for me.

I also wanted the Saints to win too. Must not be my year for football.

Yah, I hope the superbowl can be half as good as the Pats/Colts... and I thought the Saints were starting to take control and were gonna run away from the Bears. We were at some relatives and had to leave, so I didn't get to see what happened in that game. Did the Saints self destruct or did the Bears just suddenly come to life?

My gut tells me the Colts are gonna win the SB.

The Bears just really got on arole offensively and were able to pin the Saints way back in their own territory several times. Grossman ended up doing a very good jub on a drive that TOTALLY shifted the momentum. Football is a game of shifting momentum. The Bears were able to capitalize on their oportunities. As far as the Colts, I though Peyton did the job everyone has expected for years. He was a true leader and won the game more than the Pats lost. Actually, two dropped catches would have been in for TD's, but it just wasn't the Pats day today. GO COLTS!!!Superbowl score (you heard it here first)... Bears:17 Colts:34

 

Thanks for the recap. The last thing I saw was the Saints on the comeback trail and the Bears just doing 3 and outs.

I gotta say that in the entire NFL, the Saints are the team I hate 2nd most. So this SuperBowl had the potential to be my two most hated teams going up against each other. I guess I dislike the Saintsbecause back when the Rams were good and going to the SuperBowl all the Saints fans would come to the Rams site and just knock us and tell us we were just lucky, etc. That and the fact that Joe Horn is on their team. The Saints fans are some of the poorest sports I've run across. I know that's a broad statement, but that's just my experience.

Now I've gone and done it though. Pissed off Pats fans and Saints fans. That wasn't my intent. Just throwing out my views on the games.
