I want to lose weight.

I've never been one to diet/exercise. I used to work retail and I was active enough that I could still eat what I wanted and stay a reasonable weight that at the time I wasn't happy with, but looking back now that's where I'd like to be. The difference came when I started sitting at a desk all day, and has gotten especially worse since I started working my current job... the fridge is always full of soda, we have cake for every possible occasion, etc. etc. etc.

I know the exercising is going to be hard, I'm pretty sure it's going to totally kick my butt. But I think the diet is going to be the worst.

Cross your fingers for me.

btw 3 of my friends have the p90 stuff but they never do it. 90 days to get ripped huh? Working out and exercise takes a lifetime commitment and determination.
Do the p90 stuff but do not stop at 90 days. Exercise everyday and eat healthy. No matter what you do, if you keep at it everyday, you will see amazing results. Good luck

My friend did it and it worked real well for him. He has a very tall skinny frame and body and it was hard for him to put on muscle. He did p90x all summer and it really helped him out. Its for getting toned/ripped and in shape not putting on huge amounts of mass and turning into the hulk. Of course youll gain some mass though and like everyone else said diet is at least 50% of it

I dont think you could have lost any weight lol. Muscle weighs more than fat, so you basically gained 10lbs of muscle.

I have a buddy that did this program, actually still doing it I think hes been doing it for about 6-7 weeks, and hes lost 10lbs but looks alot thinner and actually has some muscle, he has started it 3x now, the first 2 he would take a coupel days off, or even a weeks at some points and it really didnt work...this time though he said he hasnt missed a day and you can tell....Thats the reason I thought about doing it, not really to loose the weight but to get into shape.

P90x is a great program but like any workout you have to stick to the core basics of a great diet and PLENTY of water to get the maximum benefits of the training.

P90x doesn't work for me because I need the gym environment, it just gives me a bit of extra juice when training with others. As always, YMMV.

Either way find what works for you, eat a great diet, supplement plenty of whey protein and about 30 minutes before bed take 1 more protein drink, something that is "slow releasing" which would be a casein protein.

GOOD LUCK!!!
