So I ordered p90x yesterday and should have it by the end of the week.

Has anyone ever done it? Had success with it? Or does it suck?

I have not done it myself. But the program isn't bad. The real body composition changes will come if you follow the diet plan. Its a fairly aggressive meal plan.

The work outs themselves consist of a lot of body weight and circuit or interval or HIIT or whatever you want to call it. Basically moving from exercise to exercise keeping your heart rate and intensity up.

Its a pretty solid program overall.

On a side note, the best most comprehensive diet plan I've ever run across is the book the ABS Power Diet by Men's Health magazine's editor and chief. Might be worth a read if you're interested in making some lifestyle changes.

p90x only works if u follow the program cosistently for 90 days straight. its very easy to just tell yourself missing one day wont hurt a few to many times and then end up only doing 60 out of 90 days

What are you trying to accomplish? Weight loss? Toning?


She-Hulk stunt double?

I have the program but never tried it. Getting my diet under control is the problem (skips breakfast, gummi worms and coffee for lunch). But I weigh 145lbs and am deceptively strong thanks to work. So my purpose for p90x would be general exercise / cardio.

And for that I have a puppy

I used to do competitive power lifting - not super serious but it was fun, and wrestled.

Diet is the hardest part for sure.

no way nate i wrestled in highscool 119... i never needed to cut my weight tho

Very cool man

I had to cut a good bit of weight, I finished highschool wrestling at 160. I wrastled in college too, but I was mostly a practice dummy. D1 school though so thats something I guess.

If your consistent with ANY diet/exercise plan you'll see results.

P90x is fine for the average person who wants to drops a few pounds. lower their body fat and increase their cardio.

Not the greatest for someone who wants to gain some mass.
