I look at this and think about the blind alleys that sometimes, cutting edge engineering development goes down.

Be it F1 or MotoGP, at some point, some clever engineer will come up with an idea that just doesn't work in the real world.

So; as a braking system, this is just a total fail.

Whilst admittedly innovative, I suspect the friction material will be short-lived and continual replacement while prove to be too costly for the average motorcyclist.

Getting a wee bit nippy here now Seb, may shortly have to consider trading in my work shorts for jeans.

See if you can get an attractive fare during the ski season. Picking up another car next week so if you want to come over for a ski we could accommodate that.

 

I disagree. Continual replacement will ensure the braking system does not 'get her talons' into you.

A real bummer.

 

While we can all say she should have followed ATGATT, I would put all blame on the driver. Women rarely want to ride on bikes, usually it's enticed by the male to do it. He should have been more mature about riding with a passenger and not pin the throttle. To hear him yelling post disaster is annoying to me.

In the end, still pretty funny.
