oh 5'5"...I would lower it, I'm 5'9" and I can even flat foot my bike...couldnt imagine being 4inches shorter...my wife is 5'5" and when she sat on my bike she was all on one foot and the other foot was a fe inches off the ground...to me that would be uncomfortable at every stop. I did meet a chick on an r1 that was 5'4" and she had it lowered and she could atleast get both feet on the ground. Different bikes sit at different heights....I can flat foot on some bikes, and barley reach the ground on others....

I know here in the UK that certainly folk are taller over the years .. young girls are all my height or taller and young boys are often well over 6' ... we were all short in the middle ages ..a lot of the 17th century cottages by me have doorways that you have to crouch to go through ...

According to wiki, U.K. and U.S. height are pretty much the same:

United Kingdom
Average male height: 176.7 cm (5' 9.6")
Average female height: 163.7 cm (5' 4.4")

U.S.
Average male height: 175.8 cm (5' 9.3")
Average female height: 162.0 cm (5' 3.8")

I'm 5'8" too. I can flat foot my F2, but I can't on an RR.
