If you can get a gel or dry cell battery, do it. The life of those may be as much as 3x longer than a standard. Granted, price is higher.

Your advice no longer counts...I've called seven different Auto Zones thinking I could have a battery on hand today. THEY don't even CARRY motorcycle batteries. At least in this area they don't. I even called a store that was 50 plus miles away.
