Well. I'll be a monkey's uncle. Josh forced me to go into the urgent care clinic tonight. Turns out I have a broken leg fractured my fibula. Have to go see an ortho and find out if I need a plate or just a cast or what.

I'm FLOORED. It doesn't even really hurt. The doctor was poking it going "How are you not feeling pain?" and I'm like..well it hurts cause you're touching it but...I've been sitting at home thinking I just had a sprain. He told me he wished all his patients were so stoic, lol.

So yeah:

Not sure what kind of heal time I'm looking at on this but...damn. Going to be an interesting few weeks for sure.

Bummer! All I got was a couple of scrapes on the thumb and a bruise on the back of my hand in my lowside. Get back on and ride when you can.
Heal fast.

Absolutely every rider at least has close calls if they haven't actually wrecked. Even after you've been riding for a while and gain more confidence you still have moments that bring you back to the reality that any rider can crash on any given day that they choose to go out. I stress fractured my fibula through running before and it wasn't too bad. Get back on the bike as soon as you can. Don't be embarrassed; motorcycling is a constant learning process.

Take care of that leg ELf, you really don't want to see my docs, (although they do a great job) hope you have a fast return to the road.

My florida design is so people feel less awkward when their kid points and wonders what is wrong with my leg. I love going into my lawnmower safety lecture.

When they put your cast on, get some cool colors, don't settle for white.

I like the boot idea, if you gotta have it, might as well have fun.
