Guess what kind of a battle there is about what to call chili "fruits". Technically they are a variety of Solanum, so they are not fruits, berries, vegetable nor pods...

 

I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the economy, the
wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc. I called a
Suicide Hotline. I had to press 1 for English. I was connected to a call center in Pakistan.
I told them I was suicidal. They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck...

 

When I called, I was put on hold... didn't get to talk to anyone.

 

i thought vegetable included everything else...? i don't know... scientists and cooks need to get together and figure things out because this "it is but it isn't" sh*t's gotta go.

i'm tired of being corrected at whole foods....

i was wrong about tomatoes being a fruit.... APPARENTLY.... it went to the supreme court in 1893 and the supreme court ruled that even though it technically is the fruit of the tomato plant, that tomatoes are to be LEGALLY listed as a vegetable ....
