Had a big long post written, no post... clif note version

Critical Mass is a type of take-back-the-streets protest ride. happens monthly throughout the country

earlier that evening, NYPD scooter officer tried to grab a rider, resulted in an accident, officer hurt pretty bad, resulted in cops looking for revenge all night.

the officer has had his badge and gun taken away and was assigned to desk duty.

and get this... the RIDER was arrested for attempted assault and resisting arrest.
The reason he got arrest for attempted assault was because the officer claims that the biker tried to hit him with the bike. This is of course contrary to what the video says.

Here's another NYPD beating on tape not long after the bicycle one.

from the way the cop came at the biker i would have thought he was looking for him. ridiculous. cops like that need to be kicked off the force, screw probation, they are ****** and will always be ******.

Just to play devil's advocate...
Guy could have been jacking purses using the rest of the protest as cover
He was carying several bags on him.
Maybe the cops saw him, and decided to stop him
for something that had nothing to do with the protest

We just don't know, and are too quick tocop the "FTP" attitude

Im with White on this one until i see the whole unedited story. I could easily make up a case for either side otherwise.

Even if that IS true, that is not how NYPD is trained to apprehend a crook. At least I hope that's not how they train them.
