NYC - Midtown suggestions needed
Everyone:
Looking at getting away for a weekend soon with the GF. We were wanting to check out NYC this time of year.
What are the most ideal hotel suggestions for the midtown area? Any particular in specific being a short(ish) walk to a bunch of great bars/restaurants? We love bar hopping and good food if that helps here.
Price is not an issue regarding the hotel, etc.

The Waldorf Astoria is a nice place to stay.
Call the Trump International Hotel and Tower and be sure to ask for Donald.
Don't forget to go to the International Motorcycle Show Friday Jan 20-Sunday Jan 22. It will be at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center 655 W. 34th St. New York, NY 10001. Buy your tickets on-line so that you can just walk in rather than standing in a long line.
