I still have a Remington 22 semi-automatic tube loader, takes up to 22 mixed rounds, produced in the early 60's (I think) and it'll still shoot the wings off a fly in the right hands. If a weapon's properly maintained, age isn't a factor.......

Any pics of the ammo? I'm guessing that's one of those small rounds with a huge casings like the .17cal. Those rifles are awesome scoped out asI see you already have outta the way. Well I look forward to a shooting report hearing that it's fun/accurate as hell. Congrats!
