new motorcycle search haulted
well i been looking for a good deal on a cbr 600rr after my f4i was totaled. i have months so i was looking and if something popped up i will check it out. well the dumb a$$ drivers in this world are apperntly not afraid of getting hit by a car or a motorcycle.
driving home from school last friday i am on a road with good bit of traffic. cars turning in and out every where. its scary on a motorcycle but any way the road has 2 lanes each way very few lights. i am in the left doing the speed limit of 35.
there is stopped traffic in the right. when bam out of no where a car comes shooting out from the line of cars from my right trying to make a left across traffic. i know you should be going slow up a line of stopped cars but i am in my car and if someone does do something dumb i am not going to die. she was trying to make a left across the 2 lanes going my directing and then in to 1 of the 2 going the other way.
well thats just dangours in the first place. and she did not even go slow out to look in to my lane a little becuase she could not see my lane through the line of cars. she just went. she was in a parking lot and a guy waived her to go and she just went not looking. i dint have enough time to stop but i was on my breaks and t boned her driver side door and back door. i was fine and she was also.
this road has large 16 wheelers and the big trucks with cars on them. there are lots of these large trucks. i can just imagine if i were not a little escort and was one of them. she would have just been crushed. she was in a smaller acura by the way.
after being in a motorcycle accicdent involving a car smashing a car in to some one was just fun. she was shaking and crying i was just like your insurance is going up. well i dint say that but. the cop said it was probley going to be her fault. and when i say fun i dont mean i go out trying to smash in to some one but compared to hitting a car on a bike.
i was pissed becuase the blue book on my escort is about 1500. now for 1500 i could not get a car that would run like that car. i mean i hated the car but it ran i am only 17 and dont care for a nice car just a nice bike. the ac dint work, the raido sucked, it was slow, the exhaust was broken,it dint have power windows or anything, and it dint shift smooth. but it had a newer transmission in it and the engine had only like 85k on it. i had just had a new timing belt and water pump put in. i dont know how much i am getting for it yet but i went out and bought a 2000 dodage intrepid with 63k miles. it was 4400 otd so i had to spend like 3000 of my motorcycle money on a car. i dint want to go buy some cheap 1500-2000 dollar car becuase i am peraniod about it breaking down and i have to make sure its going to run for years.
i love this car. the body is in great condtion, the inside is perfect almost, its got electric seats, windos, and locks its got ac, 200 hp compared to the 80 the excort had o and the dash lights work on this one also lol so i can see my speed at night.
i like the new cars but i would glady deal with the old one for the 3000 i had to put in to this one. so now i must wait till the begining of the riding season for a new bike. i probley will not be able to get a 07 now and money is going to be tight.
and i had to deal with my mom riding me around for a week. why did this all happen? becuase people are dumb.
