Default New to me car..

I'm stuck between two cars and would like some opinions on which would be better.

2010 Scion tC or 2010/2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

I'm not looking for fast, but I'm looking for something that looks fast. It needs to be a hatchback for my sub system. If you have any other suggestions, let me know. Price range is 13k (highest I can go is about 17k)

The scion will last longer and be more reliable, in general.

That was my original thought, but I can't find any 2010's in white with a manual tranny.

I don't consider truck noises man noises. To me muscle cars/trucks sound the exact same as a ****ty car with no exhaust. I literally can rarely tell the difference unless I can see the car I'm listening too. I have my bike to make sexy noises, I need a car to make bass noises.

I'm not putting a rice can on my car. Oh, and I'm a male.

I like hot rods, motorcycles, animals, flowers, long walks on the beach...oh **** - wrong site... I kid, I kid.

What are you going to stare at and be happy you purchased? What dealership is close to you or work - just in case?

I like both cars equally. I would prefer to have a 350z or 370Z, but as a daily driver in Nebraska a low RWD vehicle isn't a wise option. We all dealerships around where I live minus Volvo. Finding the manual transmission vehicles is becoming harder and harder in the U.S I've noticed though. Not very many people can drive them.

Had a 11' Scion, if that year is in the price range i would recommend it instead of the 10'.

The 11 has an extra 20 hp and is a six speed, mine handled exceptionally well even with everything stock. It had a little umph to it but is not high strung like a Civic Si.

Only down side to the hatch is the size, had a 10" deep sub box with a solo-baric L7 12 in mine and it took up almost half of it
