new level of stupidity
Wow! So you're keeping the Bike, kept the job, and your freedom. That is GREAT news.
Take it easy for now, and as long as this lesson is not forgotten you should be fine.
If you're mechanically inclined, once you get the bike back, take the whole thing appart and do a full overhaul on it. it will serve 2 purposes.
1. it will eliminate the temptation of "taking it out for a little spin" while your license is still suspended.
(not even Paris Hilton was able to skate out of that one even with her millions, and the cops will be on the lookout for your bike for a while anyways)
and 2. you can take care of any stuff that might have gotten busted while it was sitting on theimpound yard (I trully hope nothing does, but impoind is notorious for being careless with the vehicles they are holding) or that you just hadn't gotten arround to fixing (minor scratches, new/adjust chain, inspect clutch, clean battery terminals, get wheels re balanced. adjust your clutch cable/brake/clutch levers/clip on angle etc...)
Glad to hear evrything is working out, and that you seem to have learned your lesson. thanks for sharing.
It takes courage to man up to your mistakes-kudos for that

No, he's going to *try* to do that. You deserve to get the full punishment for doing something like that. You're the reason cops hate us.

id almost feel bad for you but im kinda in the same situation..minus the fact that i never try to run, ive managed to somehow get 24 speeding tickets in under 2 yrs (which by my count is total bs ) but none the less i paid my fines and now i pay the price with a 3 month license suspension, which may seem like a minimal punishment to some , it is torture for those who riding/driving is life.. 2 more weeks and im back on the road...and i wont be lighting up anymore radar guns..
keep the stupid stuff on the track...that way if you die..you only kill yourself

I'm confused. You were warned, you were going the legal speed (although some of your buddies werent). Makes no sense to me. Sure, they might be able to get you some minor thing, but was no where near being worth the risk.
