New Google Browser for download...

Chrome has potential due to it being Open Source, but if anybody has installed it yet, you should immediately be able to tell that this application is in its infancy.
Pros [ol][*]Appears to have a very small footprint, with each tab and domain consuming its own resources; this was the goal of Chrome.[*]Open Source; will evolve much faster than other browsers since everyone can now contribute.[/ol] Cons [ol][*]The browser is being recognized as Safari; need I say more? This could partially be contributed to the fact its a new browser no one has had a chance to work with yet.[*]New ideas in development. This could potentially lead to a more efficient way at rendering web pages. However, if they don't get the standards right then it will just lead to one more browser a web developer has to program for compatibility. Safari and IE are already a PITA as is.[*]The UI on this thing is ****. I was disgusted on load, but I will have to give it a try and see some of its additional features. Only time will tell with versioning if this browser will survive the brutal battlefield it has plunged into. [/ol]

I think it's going to be a good client for the online services that google offers. The future of this browser might be the integrated version of Adobe AIR. Which will implement and act like an Object Oriented program then being just a browser. It's time to kill all those old harddrive addicted programs and this might be the beginning for that.
I am still trying to get used to the idea where it loads and manages applets that are viewed on the page and wondering if that may cause any problems. Yup, lets wait and see...

The ONLY thing that still makes FireFox better is extensions. Boy, if I could at least get mouse gestures, I'd be in heaven.
