congrats Jaynd....welcome to the good life...haha....

i am in the process of getting my third property....i am only 29...haha...we bought a house before i was married (4 months prior), i was 24....then we bought my condo i am in now and sold the first house 2.5 years ago...and now i am buying another house and selling the condo....hahaha....i am starting to get pretty good at the whole property thing....

@buss....i feel you man...i am buying a short sale property (pre-foreclosure) and am having all sorts of issues...it's GREAT to buy right now as the deals are amazing (crappy to sell....someone want my condo???)....we had our offer in to the bank in Feb. and we JUST got a signed returned contract last week....nuts right? on top of that...previous owner was nuts and started taking stoves and light fixtures because he was pissed....

beyond that, the place needs some work, but we got it for a steal (cheaper than my condo) and we are looking to just live there for a couple years and clean it up a bit, then knock it down and build my house, the real deal.....we'll see how things go....

if anyone ever needs home advice...haha...let me know...and once again...congrats buddy!!!

 

Moving SUCKS!!! We just moved a few months ago, and it is absolutely amazing how much **** you end up having. You throw alot away, and when you go to move what is left you realize...you still have a ton of ****! I am ruthless. I will throw away anything. I think, if you haven't missed it in several years...you don't need it. Too bad my wife is a packrat. She literally pulled some stuff out of the trash that I threw away. Unbelievable. Anyway, good on ya mate. Get some pics up when you get a chance. Can't wait to see the mansion...

 

yeah i bought my current house as a pre forclosure deal, and it was listed by the owner, nota bank or anything. It was a cash deal, and it amazed me how slow / PITA the mortgage company was to deal with. All they had to do was take my money and it was like an act of congress to get 'em to do that.

 

Man I remember my first place...

1 bedroom basement appartment. The bedroom had a curtain of sorts to split me and my roommates sides of the room . We had 2 windows, one looked at dirt, the other some skank nasty bitches patio chairs. $475/month - no garage.

well we got all our stuff in yesterday and got probably 50% set-up. i tell you what, im BEAT! went to sleep around 12:30 and woke up for work at 3:00. the bike looks sexsi in the garage . i'll take some pics this weekend. i'll probably have a bunch top post aslong as it doesnt rain......i've planned a large group ride in my area (hopefully 30+ bikes!), so i'll possibly post those aswell.

*sigh*....well, time for me to get off here and start working [>:]. take care everybody.

 

Not sure if you mentioned this and I just missed it - but is the house in MD somewhere?

 

oh, yeah....its in MD. only moved about 10+ miles from where i was staying at my moms.

i forgot it is actually a 5bdrm, not a 4bdrm. so im gonna have to aquire a pool table for one of the upstairs rooms [8D]

it was funny, my g/f was steady unpacking items and i was throwing all my "Superstreetbike" and "Sport Rider" mags out on the coffee table in the livingroom, hahahaha. 1st things 1st, damnit!
