Always tuck your laces in. I always tuck my boot laces into the outer part of my boot and they have not come out.

I did that once...then I got icon boots....theres a strap that goes over the laces so that doesnt happen snymore
Same with me, except I bough Honda street boots (wearing them now, since I rode to the office today).

same here i have my smx they sucked until they broke in i kept missing shifts and my foot when get kinda stuck under the shifter so i adjusted everything and they broke in a little better so now its all good

I had that happen the first time I tried to wear tennis shoes, learned to tuck them in real quick. Only, it was my left shoe and on the shift linkeage. I don't wear tennis shoes ever riding, just when I am working on the bike and take it around the apts on test rides, but I have never tucked my boots laces in and have never had an issue with them; the boots laces are much shorter though. I will say that it will get your heart pounding when your foot doesnt remove itself from the bike properly.

you know what would make this story funny? ....... If I had not done that myself only with the wife on the back she had to reach forward to get it loose talk about a scary moment...... went and got a pair of proper riding boots after that......

Get skateboard shoes.

I remember when I was a little kid my laces get tangled up in the peddles and I was going fast. All of a sudden the peddles locked up and I was annilhated.

scary stuff, lol. i always wear steeltoe boots..........and i'll either tuck the laces in, or roll my socks so they cover the laces. works fine and havent had any trouble.

good job on keep'en her upright though!

Way to keep the rubber on the ground! F sandals .. bare feet is the way to go. ...lol.

I had the same thing happen to me a week after I go my bike... hints why I ride in gaerne racing boots now!

Yea last season I bought some really nice SIDI boots I'm wearing those to work from now on.
