Default Never riding with shoelaces again

Wow yesterday I had the biggest scare ever on my way home from work. I'm freezing cold riding in the 50 degree cloudy weatherI cometo a stop at a stop light and try to pull my foot out and it's stuck. My freaking shoe lace was looped around something!!!! As I'm in slow motion falling over with my foot stuck to the side of my bike I pull as hard as I can and rip the shoe lace and get my foot down just as the bike is looking like it's in full lean. Good thing I'm 6'1" 230lbs and caught the bike. I'm sure I looked like a retard who's never ridden before. I pulled into the next subdivision and started taking my foot off before I was stopped and it got stuck again. I just kept rolling as I struggled to free the other loop and came to a stop and tucked in my left shoe laces into my shoe and my right broken one then. Then I laughed, it was pretty funny.

I always tuck mine in. But on a side note I once got my clip on my MX boots snagged on my foot pegs when I was out on the dunes. I fell over in front of a bunch of people. It was hilarious!

You shouldn't ride with tennis shoes anyway.

I wear boots and I tuck mine in further down under my laces.

I wear tennis shoes... It happened to me on a couple of occations so far. The second time it happened I stopped at walgreens and bought a cheap pair of sissors and cut the laces back.

I always try and make a point to tuck in the laces on my left shoe. Always had a worry that one of the sprockets would catch the laces and do bad things with my foot.

One of the reasons why I just picked up my pair of SMX-4s.
