I just moved to Austin, TX and have been without my bike for about a week. Just can't stand living without it anymore so I'm looking to get it shipped from OH to here. So I was wondering if anybody has shipped a bike before and which companies would you recommend. Any other tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if you want another option when I shipped my bike I used DAS, www.dasautoshippers.com . There customer service was awesome, when I got my bike the rear tire had somehow been popped in shipping, even thou the tire was completely bald they still payed to buy me a new tire.

Forward Air still ships motorcycles I believe.....I work for them maybe I should know that???? lol

Just looked at our website yep we still ship and depending on where in OHIO you are we've got terminals in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincy.....as well as a terminal in Austin.

I live in Columbus by the way and work at our hub and I know they take very good care of the bikes that come through here....

 

well, you could try sticking a couple stamps to the gas tank and sitting it on top of a mailbox. Let us know what happens with that, if you try my way.
