Can I first say, I am no fan of Nascar, but it reminds me of a fat lady in spandex, and I can't look away. Anyway, Jr. is leaving his father's team to go somewhere else. What do you Nascar fans think of that? I think his stepmom is a p.o.s., and it is hard for me to fathom he is leaving a team with his name on it.

 

Well....I used to be a big fan, but don't want to completely abandon it....but rarely watch it anymore. But...rumor has it that he might go to RCR and drive the #3, which is owned by RCR. Doubt he'll go to a ford team. Obviously things arent working for him at DEI, Hendricks stable is full, so hard to go there, but hes still good with Richard Childress, which knows his stuff. I think he kinda wants to build his own image instead of living in a shadow of his late father, or take over the #3 and finish what his father started, kind of different ends of the spectrum, but the simple fact is that DEI isn't working for him in one form or the other, so hes gonna try to pave his own road.

 

I was watching Sports Center, and I think he said something about wanting to stay with Chevy. Like I said, I follow very loosely, so I may be dead wrong. I can imagine it would be such a burden to have his name...considering who his father was.

he is going to go to Busch Series pretty soon and be a full time driver in that, Busch isnt as political as nextel cup, and i support him for leaving that bitch of an owner.

 

he left becouse he wanted to try new things and the team/owner did not want to do them, they had other plans. so yea of he goes to find some one that will left him do some things his way.
