I think it's funny that they call it stock car racing when the cars aren't stock at all any more. Back in the day when they raced real cars it was cooler. Now they probably have tubular frames and 700hp engines. I laugh when they still call it a Chevy Monte Carlo.
hell yes thats what im talkin about and if it is still stock car racing i want to go buy that chevy monte carlo lol

Hahahaaaaaa...nice one...

Personally, I hate NASCAR.

Boring family sedans, on an oval, with no sportsmanship because of the fakery...

It's a shame to admit but when it comes to motorsports...Americans are stupid. (I'm an American..and love Formula 1...and all racing that involves real skill and technology..)

Just had to throw this in somewhere...

Also, I believe NASCAR is ruining all forms of motorsport in some way.

For example, Bernie Eccelstooge, owner of all things F1 keeps wanting to make F1 more like NASCAR...he so wants the almighty U.S. dollar and audience...he has sacrificed some of the integrity of the sport to do so.

Him, and his toadie...Max 'Moron' Moseley...

I used to big into NASCAR, but realy have gone off of it. It was OK when there were fights, rivalries, and drivers weren't in rockstar status, it was good in that it was a blue-collar sport that anyone could identify with, both the machinery and the drivers. It is long gone from redneck status, if your calling folks from the south rednecks. It has a nationwide audience and is obviously gathering world interest also. Theres lots of thing about it that make it better than our european race varieties, and also, lots of things that make it worse. Theres still allot of stigma attached to the sport, rightfully so and understood, but youd be suprised how many people go to the track that aren't what you would call a redneck, that get all "rednecked up" to go to the event, if that makes any sense. Case in point. I went to the Texas race last year, and in a seat next to me was this bumpkin lookin guy, flanel cut-off, jeans, redman cap, the works. But he sounded like he had a northern accent. I asked him where he was from, just making chit chat during pre-race, and he says hes an investor with a firm in Michigan???????? So, I think, and this is my personal opinion, that people like to go to the race, dress up like hee-haw, and experience the whole thing. Nascar races are fun, my attendance has about gone to nil cause it's so mainstream and glamourous now, and EXPENSIVE. Used to get good seats, view of all corners, covered in the shade for 50 bucks, you can take in your own cooler of beer and food and kick back, relax and have a fun time. Not like that now at all. There is allot to the machinery as well, says allot to spin a factory based small-block at 8-9K and pull 700hp naturally aspirated, and have it last for 4 hrs. Not bagging on anyones comments or anything, I enjoy all aspects and attitudes, just my .02 is all.

Nascar is just a big waste of good gas in my opionion. I know it's strategy, but why not cut it down to like 100 laps instead of 300 and maybe throw in some right turns. But thats asking alot. How could you ever expect redknecks to watch that. Be to hard to follow. Another thing. They make the limits on the cars so strict they are pretty much driving the same cars correct. How about making them include mufflers.

I was just thinking on the way home today. Since when does a Toyota Camry reach 180 + ???? I like how some of you referred to these family sedans. Your right. These are supposedly family sedan bodies on a totally non stock car. Now put a bunch of stock pinto's on the track. Hell I might be up for watching some of that. LOL. Also I do not understand why funny cars do the same thing. Have a Monte Carlo "body" on a car that does over 300mph. Hmmm I will never know. Thats why I stick to two wheels. Oh ya and the occassional Monster Truck Jam once and awhile.

It says something about America, you know. While the rest of the world is getting better than us at Baseball, Basketball, and the entire world loves/plays Soccer (Football), which is fourty minutes of non-stop running, we are content to sit on our ***, drink Hamms, and watch a car go around in a circle...fat, lazy bastards! Now there's a sport...

little slow huh.
some one posed that my sig was gay(post here https://cbrforum.com/m_284287/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm ) and Musichyp changed it to his

so i had his sig on. get it? when i posed that i saw saying i had a pimp sig(refering to his) but then Musichyp changed it back to my old sig after i posted that, thus when u saw my post it had my sig making my post meaningless. i did not confuse it.
