Mythbusters: Green Hornet Special
i thot the same thing ,, cant believe they made 20 of them for the movie ! it couldnt have been eazy to find all those sweet imperials, i know they did alot to them , but still. sucks to see vintage iron destroyed...
Good point. haha I guess they had plenty of potential for old school mafia style but some stuff had to be done to them. lol
yea lol, I mean I love american muscle, esp older ones like the 69 camaro SS. I really miss my 67 Chevy pickup and my 72 Cutlass supreme lol
Let's talk about The Dukes of Hazzard a bit. They trashed at least one 1969 Dodge Charger per show. The reported destruction of those cars were around 320 for the series run. Toward the end they stopped using cars and showed re-run footage instead because they could not find any more cars. What a shame.
Chrysler Imperials or Dodge Chargers destruction for a profit................sad, just sad.
Baby Shortee, I hate to see any classic destroyed. It's kind of like watching a living species going extinct.

ya, it sucks that they had to do that in the episode for mythbusters, but remember, they're not really blowing up those cars in the movies nowadays. they're usually just kits or rolling chassises getting blown sky high in the movies, not an actual car.
