My friends decided not to go, so I cancelled my trip too. But yesterday, my worker's friend's mom came, and she said she was going to NY next week. I was like, I was supposed to go to NY next week too. Her friend will let me stay at her house for few days, so it looks like my NY trip is reviving now. I have to see the schedule still, but now I am getting excited again. I would have fun with this lady than my friends, haha so that will be cool if I can pull it off

 

Where in New York? I'm assuming the city that's the only place anyone out of state really want's to see anyway.

 

Her friend is close to LaGuardia airpot. So she can come pick me up which is nice. I never been to NY so wherever they want to take me.

Never been to NY before huh? Make sure you wallet is locked, this weird thing happens as soon as you cross state lines.

The wallet just opens up and money just floats away.

But on a serious note, the city's a little overrated IMHO, but the amount/diversity of food is staggering. So I just say eat the whole time .

 

Haha I wish I can do that. This is getting fun. Just found out there is another person who will be going to NY at the same time.

If someone wants to give me safe squid tour ride, that will be awesome too.

SOOOOOOO...

I was excited to hang out with this lady but at the same time.. I do not do well with roommates, so I was happy that I am saving money on lodging, but I was not too happy about sharing bathroom etc. But I called them 2 days ago with my flight schedule. Her friend answered phone but said that they are at the beach and wind is strong so she will call me back when they get back to the house. Then no call back. So I called this morning. She answered and told me that she did not realize her friend and her husband has one bed / bath, and it will be hard for me to stay there. So I got the hotel room. No big deal. I think this is what I wanted to do anyway. Get a room to myself. And maybe meet up with them , but not tag along with wherever they go.

BUT I think it is very inconsiderate for her to tell me just less than week before my departure. She has been there more than a week. So she could have called me earlier.
