yea that looks really nice, simple, and clean

how did you do that?
a little write up maybe?
i know its kinda simple but ive thought of doing this so i can match my paint but i know you ahve to be really careful sanding the clear coat and what not

so if you could make a small write up it would be appreciated by many, im sure.

Thanks for the comments...
Yes, they are reflective vinyl pinstripes, (the same kind I used for the border of the wing on the bike)

I wish I had the skills to pinstripe in paint like that.
The design on the back is another sticker from the same kit than the one on the Bike's tank.

In any case I spent nearly a week deciding how I wanted to apply the stickers (in the end that's what they are) and ended up just highlighting the creases already present on the helmet's shape, and using a wider tape to create "end caps" for the sides of the clear visor to hide the ratcheting mechanism. I'll still need to do some minor adjustments so the lines match up on the left side when the visor is open (the effect is really cool on the right side) and to have the visor seal all the way arround on it's gasket (I was fooling aarround with the new double lock feature on the visor and took it out of align ment) but overall its a very good helmet, and I'm pleased with the look I gave it.

The Black/grey HJC was 5 years old so It was time to replace it. (I'll keep it as a secondary helmet in case I ever get the crazy need to take a passenger)

looks awsome. grat job bro.
as for the 5 year helmet thing. padding and foam tend to age and crack with time. after about 5 years. the protection from your helmet might be less than optimal if you get on an accident. (dont get me wrong, it still works, but maufacturers tend to cover their asses legally by giving their products a shorter lifespan than their actual usable life) IN any case, better safe than sorry.
