here is what i asked the guy.....and yes i do know there is a buy it now price, but asked anyway.....

"you say the only aftermarkeet piece is the exhaust, what about the bottle of nos on the left side. what about the undertail? what about the flush signals? what about the seat cowl? if you don't mind, what else have you done to it? Do you have a buy it now price?"

lol...budeev...that is the single most proper definition of IP i have heard in years...LOL...and i am a an IP attorney....kudos....

just as a side...instead of calling them "processes of the mind" i usually just say they are the intangibles....e.g. words, pictures, music, ideas, names, brands...etc....

i'll never forget a few weeks ago i took my parents to brunch and my mom confessed that after 3 years of law school and knowing i am was going to doing patent law, and knowing i was in IP...that she never knew what IP meant.....i explained it to her using a simple creamer cup....explained the difference between trademark, copyright, patent, trade dress and trade secrets...with that one cup...it was funny...an atty was sitting next to us and asked if i was an IP atty to which i replied..."newly admitted"...she complimented me on my explanation saying it reminded her of law school and that it was amazingly simple....one of the nicest comments i have had in a LOOOONG time....

I hate watching that show. Almost everytime I see it she acts like she is miss knowitall. Pisses me off just to listen to her. I have always said if I ever see her on the street I wouldnt hesitate to punch her in the mouth.

This is no way has anything to do with the case of scammers though. Just me not liking her as a judge.

I just checked the ebay ad and it has been shut down. Looks like you got through to ebay or as a collective we scared the crap out of the guy!!!

 

I know this is not the same thing, but kind of the same action. I was selling my Tracker on Autotrader.com last year. I was looking on ebay at tracker parts and seen my vehicle. I was like WTF? The guy was selling aftermarket top's and I guess needed a pic of a Tracker. My Tracker still had the stock top and not the brand he was selling. I sent him an email and told him that if he was going to use my pic then I need some money for it. It was off the next day with no response.
