My 08 1000RR is Stolen.
Well I've been putting this off in denial posting here but to get right down to it, my 1000RR was stolen about 2 weeks ago and it doesn't look like I'll be getting it back.
Long story short, my GF and I had separated and she took the bike to her new apartment where it got stolen out of her assigned spot.
Worst part, no low jack, no insurance. no recovery.
Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up
RIP 2008 1000RR Limited Ed.

Damn man... sorry to hear about that. I can't imagine how upset you are about it. Good luck on any kind of recovery, but you already know what the odds are on that..
@Tikki: I'm pretty sure stealing motorcycles is big everywhere. All you need is a friend, a pickup truck, and about 5 minutes. And that bike is gone and probably stripped for parts.
Again, sorry Lockless... real bummer man..

Walking out, dressed for a ride, keys in hand, to discover your bike gone is one of the worst feelings in the world. It happened to me, only they snatched two bikes. I was lucky enough to get mine back...There is no honor among thieves.
The cops picked up some crackhead trying to rob random people in the middle of a bridge with a shotgun and he rolled over on the thieves thinkin it would help his case.
They convicted one guy( the fall guy) and let the rest go. After he served his time they deported his thievin *** back to the US.

He said no ins . Good luck getting it back. All hope isn't gone. I recovered a dirtbike (even more rare than getting a streetbike back) recently. Good luck and may justice be served to the worthless pieces that made off with your ride. Post an ad on CL with pictures and ask for the rest of the MC communities help through eyes and ears. Also post an ad looking for parts for your bike and see if anything comes up. Good luck
