I agree 100%. Though, they should have ended the movie about 35 to 40 minutes prior. They just seems to try to pack more than was necessarily needed into it. Other than that though it was a phenominal movie. And Ditto on Heath Ledger's performance.......and the beginning was brilliant, and very un-Batman like. Loved it.

Saw Tropical Thunder........laughed, but not hard enough to say "it was hilarious".......more so that it was "just funny".

I'm waiting on the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, to come out. Never has a Bond movie ever had a continuing story from movie to movie......and this will be the first. I like where the Bond franchise is going after seeing almost go down in flames with Brosnan. And that was primarily due to the sub-par writers and horrible scripts, and not so much Pierce Brosnan either.

 

+1 for new Bond, that last one may have been the best, lots of action!
Might go see Babylon AD, looks like plents of action there too, and great special effects. Saw a teaser for the new Terminator, with Christian Bale taking over the role of John Connor, post bombs dropping, looks awesome! that guy that played Connor in pt 3 was terrible (in my opinion).
Watched Felon last week, it was pretty decent, worth a rental. I just don't like movies that look like they've been shot with a hand camcorder, slightly grainy picture and jerky camera motions. I understand it's supposed to feel more real, but I say since they've got the technology to do it right, smooth & clear, they should!

 

Yep!!! +10000 on Quantum of Solace. Man that looks like a great movie!! I really loved Casino Royale. Daniel Craig pulled of a great James Bond. Cant wait to see it!!

 

Last movie I really liked was 'Pathfinder'. Critics hated it but half the time I don't understand what they're griping about. Unfortunately I don't have time to go out and see much but I would like to see 'The Dark Knight'.

 

the dark knight was truely incredible. i loved every second of it. i liked stop loss which recently came out on video, but i also have a brother in the military so that could be an adding factor.

 

I agree with everyone about the dark knight, and that they could have cut it a bit shorter. It seems like the new trend is to try packing 2 movies into one, spiderman 3 did that too.

I really didnt care for pineapple express, but James Franko was way funny in that movie.

I thought tropic thunder was great! i loved Tom Cruise's scenes!!

 

other then pathfinder being complete garbage i agree with you. lol

 

Anything with swords I really like, so even pathfinder although the screen shook so much you couldnt see anything the entire movie...
I loved the costumes in it.

What else.. Troy, 300, Tristan and Isolde, um... 13th warrior, but now we are getting to older movies hehe..

 

+1 on the departed.

don't forget John Travolta's first movie, 'The Boy in the Plastic Bubble'. That blew me away!

In all honestly it was the worst movie of all time... but it's one of those movies that's so horrible bad, that it's good kinda movies.
