Movies that you have seen recently that blew you away..
Hey all
What movies have you seen lately that totally knocked your socks off?
I saw The Dark Knight (latest Batman Movie) last week and I couldnt help myself to see it again a few days later. Heath Ledger's performance of The Joker was absolutely brilliant and he has to get an oscar for that role in his absence. We truly lost a great actor. May he R.I.P. Will never forget his catch phrase "Why...so...serious???".
What else have you seen?

The Dark Knight was the first movie I saw at an IMAX but if you only ever see one there make it that one! F**KING AMAZING!! That crystal clear gigantic screen really makes the movie worththe $13.50 ticket price. Plus, you get your moneys worth at 2 1/2 hours long! don't think I looked away once, truely a great movie and can't wait for pt 3 (orpt 7 if you count the old ones, 8 with the old adam west movie).
Other than that I watched Street Kings last night, it's worth a rental if you get a chance.

I would love to watch it on the IMAX, but we had one here in Cape Town, but due to the price (not that expensive compared to yours) R70, about $10, scared the people away and it got scrapped cuz nobody was watching movies there anymore.
I freaking loved the IMAX, especially the documentaries they showed.
