Does anyone know how much it would cost to go through MMI's course, and how good they are at finding a residence? Im looking at maybe going to Pheonix, AZ, to try my hand at being a motorcycle mechanic (and become a honda tech, of course lol ) I was hoping someone had some information... I have an information "packet" they sent me, and I've been online, but I still dont know how much it would cost !!!! grrrr....

I've never been there, but i've heard from several people who have been that it's not worth it. It's a pretty expensive program to start with. Apperantly after graduation, most people start work in the $7 to $10 dollar an hour range. I've heard better stories of success by people starting at a local small shop doing misc stuff around the shop and doing oil changes and small jobs and then learning as they go.

thanks for the input neon... I was afraid of that actually.... [:@] Im trying to find something near mountain home Idaho, but I cant really find anything.... is there any good at-home courses that would help to place me in the field at least, or should I just try and walk into a bike shop :S
