I have a Ninja 250 and ~1500 miles of experiance. No license. I'm still pondering if I should take the DMV test or not. I have a date for the MSF class but its not until September.I'll take the MSF course either way but I'd rather have the license earlier. For the U-Turn, are you allowed to put your feet down or not? Also, how far away are the cones placed from each other? I was trying it in a parking lot, using the corner where the parking lines meet as a reference point(parallel parking spaces). Even on a 250cc, I couldn't do more than 2 cones. My buddy who has been riding for 4 years also had trouble with it.

Thanks. What about the U-turn? Are you allowed to put your feet down? If not, how do you do the U-turn without putting your feet down?
