some people just cant handle a big bike ! they would rather trade down in order to be more comfortable on the bike .. me on the other hand id love to trade up for a faster bike ill hopefully hear back from him tommorrow and let you guys know whats up

sweet ! thaks for the link. i tired to search but came up empty.. ok since i got that figured out now what about the timing advance ? how would i fix that ? or would i need it because of the full exhaust and jet kit ?

 

i posted up a LONG time ago about installing one.. you dont "need" it for the exhaust or anything..

to change it-
get a stock timing gear
remove the right side cover for the timing chain(in front of the clutch)
you will see the gear remove the center nut and swap them out!

really easy to do.. make sure you get a new gasket too!!

I think a straight up trade sounds like a killer deal! You gotta love those guys that get a bike that scares them. It usually means you are going to get a good deal on the flip side. Good luck, man. I hope it works out...that would be sweet!!!

 

or you could just give the advance timing to me to go on my 98 900 RR...i love my 900...cant imagine life without it...good luck i hope you get it man...the 900 is my first bike and it scares the crap outta me...but it also keeps me in check..im responsible enough to fight the urge and keep it down...the kid was prolly younger and wanted to go ***** out.
