me too. Ever since someone backed into my bike and knocking it down, I always wonder if they can see me if I park in the back. So I park in the front. or out of the way back. Normally not in between.

Life isn't supposed to be fair for anyone else and anything that is unfair to me is a cruel injustice against the human condition itself!

in Missouri you can park in the crosswalk area on the ends of the isle of cars ya know by the light poles. I get weird looks for that.

Most places in Australia allow parking on the footpath (if there is one... lol), as long as you leave enough space for pedestrians to get around it. I never had a problem finding a good park!

Wal-Mart yesterday when my girlfriend asked me to pick up a prescription. Y'all know the parking lot there are a couple football fields and all the parking up front is WAY gone. There's no way in hell I'm parking my bike that far from the door, out of sight, where any jackass with a box truck can grab her while I'm inside. So I parked her right across from the door in the lined off wedges where people aren't supposed to park. Wal-Mart's Rent A Cop waddles away from the door where he's glancing at people's receipts and tells me "You can't park there".

Me: Ok, where's the motorcycle parking spots?
Him: Um, we don't have any.
Me: Ok, then I'll park up there on the sidewalk in the bike parking.
Him: You can't park there
Me: Why not? It's got 2 wheels and I got a lock to chain it to the bike rack (bluff)
Him: Um...
Me: Tell ya what.... Go get that guy right there (*points to police cruiser stationed in front of door*) to come write me a parking ticket. I'll prolly be out before he can figure out where to leave the ticket without setting off my alarm

Not that a Philly cop would write a parking ticket except under dire circumstances. They leave that to the PPA who generally don't give a **** where we leave our bikes so long as they're not blocking doors or sidewalks

Yeah i dont understand why people get so bent out of shape over it. Its a motorcycle its stupid for them to take up a whole parking space when we can stick them anywhere and theyll be out of the way. I always park in those lined off triangle spots at the end of the rows.

Ive always wondered what would happen if i rode my bike into one of the bike racks for bicycles and locked it up. Id just want to see the reactions.
